Having achieved financial independence at an early age, Randall retired from his fulltime role as a financial advisor at IDS American Express.
He opened a family office in 1987 to manage his family investment holdings and accommodated other families who wanted to do likewise. The multifamily office was named Alliance, and a broker dealer was purchased. Ultimately, a bank and trust company was formed in partnership with some other investment advisory firms.
Randall’s two oldest sons, Randy Jr., and Jerry now run the investment advisory side of the firm as well as most of the subsidiary companies that have evolved. Randall continues with the firm as a sounding board for his sons and to aid in the due diligence work associated with the acquisition of new investment opportunities.
His time is now devoted to ministry endeavors. Randall was a founding member of Kingdom Advisors with Larry Burkett and Ron Blue. He’s also chairman of the board at Christian Foundation of the West. He also serves on the board of the Kingdom Centers which provides housing for widows and orphans.
Randall enjoys snow skiing, flying aircraft, and driving race cars with his four sons and four grandchildren—and entertaining with his bride, Kay, to whom he’s been married since 1972.
